Ethology Cats Face-to-face - EVALUATION CONSULTATION AND INITIAL ADVICE

Multidisciplinary program adapted to the individual characteristics of the patient, such as reproductive status, age, comorbidities (diseases) and external agents such as the family and social environment in cats suffering from various behavioral disorders derived from anxiety, fear, stress or other complex factors. that can be presented and that can be manifested in:

• Aggression problems towards humans
• Aggression problems towards other cats (strangers or from the same house)
• Aggression problems due to intolerance to caresses
• Inadequate elimination with urine or feces related to anxiety or stress
• Improper removal by labeling
• Marking through scratches in cats
• Introduction or reintroduction of new cats to a multi-cat household

PHASE I (ASSESSMENT CONSULTATION AND INITIAL ADVICE – 60 -120 MINUTES )
This first consultation IS PRESENTIAL at home or consultation, depending on the pathology. (Check communes available for addresses)

At the initial consultation:
- An interview is carried out with the tutor where all the information regarding the clinical and emotional history of the cat is collected, if it had previous ethological treatment, its daytime and nighttime activities, the environment where it lives, etc. as well as the characteristics of the kitten's human family.
- The environment in which the cat lives is observed (toys, number of food and water dishes, scratching posts, number of sanitary trays, etc.).
- The tutor raises the behavioral or emotional problem of your pet.
- A PRE DIAGNOSIS of the problem that afflicts the patient is carried out.
- The first guidelines for managing the problem are given as well as, if required, medical check-ups with your veterinarian, exams, vaccination schedule and deworming are requested.
- A written report is sent by email to the tutor, which describes what was done in the session and details the work and exercises that the owner must do with his kitten during the first week of treatment.
